Rental Policy

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid USA driver’s license (if outside the USA, International driver’s license, and passport required)

Must have standalone comprehensive insurance, meaning you need liability and collision insurance that will transfer to our vehicle.

Must have major credit card with credit line, to rent a vehicle from us. We do accept payment from debit card and credit card.

25 years or older (21-24 drivers will need to pay additional fee to rent)

To rent a vehicle from Suburban Van rentals, the driver must be physically and mentally fit to drive and in good health (i.e., good eyesight). The company reserves the right to deny a rental if they believe the driver is under the influence of alcohol or any other substance that may impair their ability to drive safely.

RENTAL VAN PICK UP

The rental will start at your scheduled pick-up time, we need you to come in on time. If you are late the rental will still start as scheduled and you will need to drop off by the original time when you make the reservation. If picked up late you will not be given the late same drop off and will be charged a new rental day. Keep in mind the rental needs to be ready for the next customer. PLEASE BE ON TIME!

You will need to provide us with a current driver’s license, proof of comprehensive insurance and credit card used to reserve the van. If you do not have these items, we cannot rent you a vehicle. To avoid any issues please send all documents to our email svanrentals@gmail.com for processing.

Inspection and walk around the vehicle.

Full payment is due at pick up to release the van.

Sign the rental agreement.

 

RETURN OF RENTAL VEHICLES

Vehicle must be returned to the location as per agreed Date and Time. Any change must be notified immediately. Renters must return the vehicle with full tank of gas. Otherwise, we will charge twice the market rate per gallon to fill the tank. Make sure the van clean when your return. Any spills or stains in the seat or the floor may cost $350 for detailed cleaning. Return inspection can take up to 48 hours. If we found any damage, will be notified to the customers immediately.

INSURANCE

You must be over 25 years of age to dive our vehicle with 100,000/300,000 liability insurance. Business customers/music band drivers must be 21 years of age to dive our vehicles with minimum 1 million liability insurance in company name. You can purchase additional insurance from us.

Renter’s responsibility

The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was picked up. If the fuel is not refilled, the company will charge twice the market rate per gallon to refill the tank. Smoking, including vaping, incenses, any scented candles or diffuser is not allowed in the vehicle and will be considered damage to the vehicle, resulting in a $500 fee for clean up.

For safety and liability reason, Suburban van rentals does not provide snow chains and does not recommend driving in areas where they are necessary. In the event of unexpected bad weather, the company advises stopping and parking the vehicle in a safe place and avoiding driving in any areas prone to extreme snowstorms. If snow chains are used, it is the renter’s responsibility and any damages resulting from their use will be the renter’s responsibility.

Repair policy

In the event of a mechanical breakdown, contact suburban van rentals at _______________. If the van cannot be repaired within 24 hours, the renter must find a replacement vehicle on their own. The company is not responsible for the cost of the new rental or any trip interruptions. The rental agreement will be terminated at the time of the mechanical failure and any unused days of the rental will be reimbursed.

If maintenance or repairs are needed during the rental period, Suburban van rentals will reimburse the renter for authorized mechanical repairs, as long as the repair is not due to misuses of the vehicle. Receipts for repairs must be presented when returning the vehicle. Repairs over $100 require prior approval. The renter must inform the company of any repairs before servicing the vehicle.

 

Accident policy

If you are involved in an accident, no matter the size, you must call 911 and call and report to us at ________________. A copy of the accident police report must also be provided to us. If the accident occurs outside of regular business hours, please email us directly.

Prohibited use

You are not permitted to drive our vehicles on rough or unpaved terrain or off – road. You are allowed to drive our vehicles within the US and Canada, but they are not permitted to be driven in Mexico. If you violate this prohibition, it will be considered a breach of the rental agreement and will nullify any liability or collision protection coverage provided by Suburban van rentals. The vehicle may also be subject to immediate recovery by Suburban van rentals.

Transponders, Tickets, Tolls

The renter is responsible for all tickets, violations, toll fees, and parking fees during the time of their rental. We strongly recommend our renters to pay all tolls/tickets as they receive them. However, if the ticket/toll remains unpaid, we will charge a $50 administration fee to pay the ticket/toll on your behalf. The customers can use their own Ipass or pay tolls as they go or can purchase, I pass from us with a nominal fee.

Cancellation Policy

Suburban Van Rentals has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Reservations can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of being made. However, this does not apply to reservations made within 72 hours of pick – up, which will be charged the full rental amount if cancelled.

Personal information

You agree that we may disclose personally identifiable information about you to applicable government, judicial or law enforcement agencies or to other third parties in connection with our enforcement of our rights under this agreement and other legitimate business functions. We will not share or sell any of your personal information to a third party for personal or financial reasons.

 PETS

Vans are pet friendly. You must take full responsibility for any damages that may cause to the seats, upholstery or the floor. There will be a $40/- pet fee per pet and may cause additional cleaning fees.
